Experience and Professionalism
Dr. Jaime Ross, PT, DPT is the owner and practicing clinician of propel physical therapy. She will assess your symptoms and create a custom recovery plan tailored for you. As a graduate from the University of Southern California ranked number one for its doctorate of physical therapy you will be in good hands. She completed additional training at the medical school of Emory University to pass the Susan Herdman competency for vestibular rehabilitation. This specialization benefits all her patients as her examinations start from a high level of understanding of neurological and orthopaedic physical therapy. Even when recovering the simplest sprains or strains from encounters with gravity, Dr. Ross will explain her findings so you can understand why you are hurting and what you can do to help yourself. She is an American Physical Therapy Association certified clinical instructor. In addition to having a mission of helping her patients better understand their symptoms, she enjoys learning with and instructing her peers. She mentors upcoming graduates in physical therapy in the same fashion. She has a high success rate of reducing symptoms from injuries in any joint within two visits despite the length the pain has decided to visit. She also understands the importance of educating others about the most effective ways to take care of themselves so they may assist themselves and expedite healing. Dr. Ross will have you demonstrate your exercises. There will be selective amounts, most times no more than three exercises per session. You will feel you have received a medical appointment instead of taking yourself to a gym. Exercise is a tool in the healing process and not all exercises are suitable for all patient’s. Your treatment prescription will be individualized for your need
